Privacy Policy.

1. Policy Overview

DieLadung is designed to avoid collecting identifying account data. The default account identifier is a random 16-digit number. File contents and file names are encrypted on your device before upload.

2. Data We Store

We store your account number, paid storage quota, quota usage, payment records, encrypted object metadata, and encrypted file blobs. We do not store your vault password or decryption keys.

3. Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Cryptocurrency payments are processed by NOWPayments. These providers process payment data required to complete the transaction and satisfy accounting obligations.

4. File Privacy

Stored files are ciphertext. We cannot decrypt file contents or file names because the encryption key is derived locally from your vault password and account number.

5. Infrastructure

DieLadung uses Cloudflare services for hosting, database, and object storage. Cloudflare may process operational request metadata as an infrastructure provider. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking providers.

6. Retention

Encrypted objects remain stored while your account has quota available and you do not delete them. Payment records may be retained for legal accounting requirements. Deleted objects are removed from object storage and marked deleted in the application database.

7. Recovery

If optional recovery data is added in the future, it must be opt-in and clearly presented as a privacy trade-off. Without recovery data, lost account numbers or vault passwords cannot be recovered.
